1.  Thorough  knowledge  of  ISO  9001/API  Q1  and  related  guidelines  (MSA,  SPC,  etc.) 

2.  Certified  Lead  Auditor  by  an  Recognized  accredited  organization. 

Preferred  Qualification:  Certified  Six  Sigma  Black  Belt  or  Green  Belt  and  API  auditing  are  a  plus. 

3.Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Engineering,  Quality,  or  Business  from  an  accredited  institution  required.  Minimum  of  5  years  experience  in  a  quality  or  manufacturing  role  in  a  large  company  (Fortune  500)  required.  Minimum  3  years  quality,  manufacturing  or  engineering  manager  experience  in  a  manufacturing  environment.
This  position  can  be  located  at  Chengdu  or  Shifang,  Sichuan.

A.  Plan,  develop  and  initiate  positive  actions  within  Pumping  Unit  manufacturing’s  plants  in  China  to  improve  the  efficiency  and  effectiveness  of  the  Quality  Management  Systems  (QMS). 
B.  Oversee  the  successful  deployment  of  the  API  Quality  System  throughout  the  PU  manufacturing  plants  in  China. 
C.  Head-up  the  China  PU  manufacturing  quality  council  to  drive  improvement  in  customer/internal  quality  metrics. 
D.  Support  the  development  and  integration  of  QMS  performance  metrics  into  existing  scorecards,  considering  world-class  benchmarks,  and  report  results  to  management. 
E.  Develop,  implement  and  maintain  China  PU  manufacturing’s  quality  policies,  procedures,  and  instructions. 
F.  Support  the  third  party  API  registration  and  certification  processes  throughout  China  PU  manufacturing  plants  as  required. 
G.  Oversee  the  deployment  of  the  Six  Sigma  methodology  (DMAIC)  in  China  PU  manufacturing. 
H.  Coordinate  implementation  of  special  projects  as  assigned  by  ALS  Global  Quality  Assu
