Sr  Skid  Engineer



The  Hydrogen  Technologies  Center  is  responsible  for  Proposal  support,  Process,  Instrumentation,  Controls  and  Mechanical  Design,  Project  Management,  start-up  and  site  service  support  for  UOP’s  POLYBED?  PSA  and  POLYSEP?  H2  membrane  technologies.  Both  technologies  are  delivered  to  UOP’s  customers  in  the  form  of  fabricated  equipment  （Vessels,  skid  mounted  piping  and  valve  system,  control  panel  and  control  program）  for  installation  at  the  customers  site.  Projects  are  eｘecuted  using  project  teams  consisting  of  a  project  manager,  process  engineer,  controls  engineer,  mechanical  engineers,  drafter,  piping  designer,  and  procurement.

Position  Accountabilities:

This  position  is  accountable  for  supporting  the  design,  fabrication,  and  installation  of  skid-mounted  and  stand-alone  equipment.  The  projects  involve  skid  and  packaged  process  equipment  consisting  of  piping,  control  valves,  instruments  and  structural  steel.

Provide  mechanical/Piping  engineering  support  for  skid  and  packaged  process  equipment  which  consist  of  piping,  control  valves,  instruments  and  structural  steel.
Provide  technical  support  to  external  design  resources,  equipment  vendors,  and  fabricators.
Monitor  schedule  and  budget.
Provide  direction  to  fabricators  and  inspectors  with  applicable  assistance.
Review  and  approve  fabricator  and  external  design  drawings  and  documentation.
Communicate  decisions  made  on  projects  to  others.
Identifies  opportunities  for  improving  customer  satisfaction.  Takes  action  to  exceed  customer  needs.
Travel  to  fabrication  shops  for  meetings,  inspections  and  functional  tests,  and  to  customer  site  for  vessel  loading  activities
?  Basic  Qualifications:

BS  degree  in  Mechanical/Piping  Engineering
10  years  or  more  of  experiences  in  Mechanical  Equipment  design,  specification  and/or  manufacturing  within  the  refining  or  petrochemical  industry  is  required.
English  Skill  is  workable
Additional  Qualifications:

Experience  with  stress  analysis,  structural  design,  and  pipe  flexibility  analysis,  non-destructive  testing  or  rotating  equipment  is  a  plus.
Ability  to  work  effectively  with  team  members  of  all  disciplines.
Good  presentation  and  interpersonal  skills.
Excellent  communications  skills.
Ability  to  interface  effectively  with  customers.
Ability  to  travel  up  to  25%  annually.

基本资格：

本科以上学历，机械/管道工程专业

在炼油或石化行业中有10年以上机械设备设计、规格制造经验。

英语能满足工作需求



附加资格：

有应力分析、结构设计、管道柔度分析、无损检测或旋转设备经验者优先。

具备与各学科团队成员有效合作的能力。

良好的表达能力和人际交往能力。

优秀的沟通技巧。

具备与客户有效沟通的能力。

每年出差率可能高达25%。
